The national average is that about 1 in 7 or 1 in 8 homeowners is facing a difficult time with their mortgage. And recent statistics were published from the 4th Quarter U.S. Census data stating that there were 18.4 million vacant homes in the U.S. (11 percent of all housing units vacant all year round).
